Proclamation of Final Results for the April 4, 2023 Municipal Run-Off Election in the City of Chicago

Today, the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners met to officially declare and proclaim the results of the April 4 2023 Municipal Run-Off Election. The City of Chicago saw 613,795 ballots cast for a 38.67% citywide turnout for 1,587,153 registered voters.

Chicago Board of Elections Urges Voters to Return Their Vote By Mail Ballot As Soon As They Can

The Chicago Board of Elections urges voters who recently applied or received their Vote By Mail ballot to return it via Dropbox before Monday, April 3rd to be counted for Election Night, April 4th. Vote By Mail applications for the April 4th Municipal Run-Off Election close at 5:00pm this Thursday, March 30th – voters can choose to receive a ballot in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Polish, Korean, or Tagalog.

Chicago Wards and Precincts with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Assistance for Election Day on April 4th

Ahead of the April 4th Municipal Run-Off Election, the Chicago Board of Elections released a list of wards and precincts that will receive Limited English Proficiency (LEP) assistance for Election Day. These precinct polling locations will have assigned bilingual poll workers and paper ballots in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Tagalog, and Polish.

Proclamation of Final Results for the February 28, 2023 Municipal Election in the City of Chicago

Today, the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners met to officially declare and proclaim the results of the February 28, 2023 Municipal Election. The City of Chicago saw 566,973 ballots cast for a 35.85% citywide turnout for 1,581,564 registered voters.

Vote By Mail Applications Open for the April 4th Municipal Run-Off Election; Early Voting Begins Monday, March 20th at 9:00am

Voters within the City of Chicago may now apply to Vote By Mail for the April 4th Municipal Run-Off Election. Early Voting in all 50 Wards of Chicago and at our two Downtown Sites for the April 4th Municipal Run-Off Election will begin Monday, March 20 and run through April 4, 2023 (Election Day).
