Deadline Approaching to Register Online or By Mail for April 7, 2015 Election

Chicago - Election Board must receive online or mailed-in applications by March 10 in order for those voters to be eligible to vote in person on Election Day in their precinct polling place. Those already registered at their current addresses need not act. If voters need to register or update their records after March 10, voters may use Grace Period registration.

Statement on Today's Appellate Court Decision to Reinstate Citywide Referendum Question to March 19th Ballot

"This afternoon, the Illinois Appellate Court reinstated the citywide referendum question to the March 19th Primary ballot in Chicago. The initial judgment of the Circuit Court of Cook County is vacated, and the case is remanded with instructions to dismiss the complaint for lack of jurisdiction. 

All votes cast for the citywide question will be counted and reported by the Chicago Board of Elections on Election Night, March 19th."
